All of us must have heard this phrase since our childhood. What does actually mean? In simple words it implies that what we do to others, they do the same to us. We are paid in the same coin.
Actually this phrase has a negative connotation. This phrase is used for taking revenge. But, for a change we can adapt it in a positive way. Because if you observe closely, it is the basic principle on which whole world goes by.
We are also taught in our homes to talk with respect and love too our elders and youngsters respectively. Have we ever wondered why? Simple reason behind this is if we give love and respect then only we will receive it from them.
Have we ever seen any dog loving and licking somebody who continuously beats him? No, it is simply not possible. Dogs, or any other animal for that instance love those people who shower their love on them.
When we care for a plant, love it, water it regularly and ensure its safety then only it showers its affection through fruits and flowers. Stop giving love to them. Don’t water them, don’t guard against being eaten up by animals and then see what happens to you. You will be deprived of their love. Uncared plants can never give you what you want from them.
Today our earth, our globe is facing a lot of trouble. We have exploited the earth and its resources beyond limitations to our advantage. And that is the reason why earth is returning us the calamities like earthquakes.
Therefore, it becomes compulsory for us to give all the positive things like love, care, affection to everything that is good and necessary things for our living like our family, friends, water, trees and other things that makes our world beautiful.
Therefore, it is our moral responsibility to be good to others so that others are also good to us. Always remember, world goes by the theory: what you get is what you give. So. Give good, get good and enjoy your living.

Simpler Rules Happier People
Every life is precious. Loss to a person’s life is not just his loss but an irreparable loss for some other people as well. If a person dies, a lot goes away for the bereaved family and relatives. Everybody feel a sense of loneliness which no one can fill up, no matter how hard one tries.
In India, a lot of loss to life occurs due to road accidents (more than one lakh) every year. According to Global Status Report on Road Safety released by WHO India leads the world in road deaths. The More people die in road accidents than any other country of the world including China which is most popular country of the world and hence is a cause of worry.
According to the report at least 14 people die every hour in road accidents in the country, the latest report of the National Crime Records Bureau reveals. In 2007, 1.14 lakh people in India lost their lives in road mishaps — that’s significantly higher than the 2006 road death figures in China, 89,455. The death cases be much higher as many of the cases are not brought to the notice.
4.69 lakh people were injured in road accidents in 2008, nearly four times the total death toll. As per the annual NCRB report, road accidents had the maximum (37.1%) share of unnatural causes of accidental deaths in the country.
In order to minimize the loss of life due to road accidents, we must take initiative too educate people about rules of the road and basic road etiquettes. This will definitely bring about a major shift and significant decline in road accidents.
But there is another serious issue related to road accidents that needs our immediate attention. And the issue is negligence to road accident casualties
A lot of people who meet road accidents lose their lives simply because other people do not lend a supporting hand in time. If other people come forward to help and casualties are given timely treatment their lives could be saved.
But unfortunately, people don’t do so. The major reason behind this is lack of knowledge of rules and regulation and fear of unnecessary troubles by the authorities. Samaritans were asked all sorts of questions. To avoid this tricky and taxing process people usually escape from accident site.
Now, the scenario has changed. Rules are made simpler. Authorities also appreciate such Samaritans who come forward too help the road accident casualties.
We all need to understand that a simple step of ours can save a precious life. Next time, when we see any accidents we just need to dial 100 (Delhi Police Control Room) to give information, 102 (Centralised Ambulance service) or 1099 (CATS Ambulance service).
CATS stands for Centralised Accidents and Trauma Services. Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) was conceptualised as plan scheme in 1984 during the 6th Five Year Plan. The scheme was to be implemented under the aegis of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. In 1988, the ambulance service was transferred to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) with a fleet of 14 ambulances.
CATS provide Medical emergency team with ambulances that are available on call -24 hours- 365 days a year with trained and qualified personnel for Proper transportation of a patient in critical state.
CATS has a fleet of 35 ambulances which have been deployed at strategic locations all over Delhi so as to reach the site of accident in minimum possible time.
These ambulances are equipped with wireless sets and sophisticated medical equipment. Each ambulance is manned by two ambulance personnel who have been trained in multidisciplinary skills of first aid emergency management, wireless communication and driving.
Therefore, next time whenever you see any such casualty just give a call to these numbers and become a Samaritan.
